Homegrown in Georgia
Dr. Miller partnered with Dr. Dasher upon graduation, opening the Claxton location in August 2013. What began with Dr. Miller and one nurse practitioner has grown to include a physician assistant as well, serving Evans County with comprehensive care.
The Claxton office has become a hub for innovative rural healthcare. In 2023, we partnered with MCG Hames Net Research Department for an extended blood pressure study, providing free monitors to our patients. This commitment to rural health excellence earned us the CHART Award of Excellence from MCG in 2025. Most recently, we've collaborated with Mercer University for KidsABC telehealth, bringing top-tier specialist care—including psychiatry, endocrinology, cardiology, and more—directly to our pediatric patients without requiring travel outside Evans County. This partnership includes direct access to Children's Hospital of Atlanta for urgent phone consults.
Our investment in the next generation runs deep. Mrs. Lanette Tippins, our practice administrator, has served on the Board of Directors for the Claxton Regional College and Career Academy's Healthcare Pathway since 2021, providing curriculum guidance, medical supplies, and new scrubs for incoming students annually.
In 2018, our Statesboro office expanded to a new building, now home to two physicians and four nurse practitioners. Dr. Miller began seeing patients there in 2025, strengthening our reach across the region.
Both Dr. Miller and Dr. Dasher serve as preceptors for MCG and Mercer University medical students. Our nurse practitioners and physician assistants mentor students from GSU, South University, and UAB, while our Claxton location trains CMAs and LPNs from Ogeechee Tech and Southeastern Tech. Dr. Miller also serves as Medical Director of Bethany Hospice, extending compassionate care to patients and families throughout their healthcare journey.
